As part of their quirky Ministry Series, Capital Wine produce a wonderfully racy and aromatic Riesling named The Whip. A floral nose of lime citrus and lemon rind followed by an intense palate of searing natural citrus acidity. The finish lingers in the mouth and is the perfect wine match with Thai food or simple fish 'n' chips.

Clonakilla's Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is an exceptionally delicious example of the ever popular white blend, showing lovely bright and precise fruit characters throughout. The Canberra District has quickly established itself as the Australian home of Northern Rhône style reds, and most notably Shiraz Viognier. With the cool-climate and the elevated nature of the Lark Hill Vineyards, the extra viscosity attributed to the addition of Viognier to the Shiraz as well as the fragrant lift, work perfectly for this wine.

Lark Hill have been the pioneers of this traditional Austrian variety. It was back in 2002 when Jancis Robinson visited the vineyards and stated that Lark Hill was the perfect place to grow Grüner Veltliner due to its overall terroir. With links to bio-dynaimc farming already being established, Chris Carpenter thought it was the obvious connection to begin making Grüner. Wonderfully fragrant with more than a hint of spice, Lark Hill's Grüner has a lovely textural component to it as well making it an ideal match white fish, shell fish and subtle charcuterie.

This semi-dry Riesling from Schloss Vollrads is a prime example for the variety. It has an inviting floral bouquet, subtle minerality, and complex fruit focused on flavours of green and yellow apples and Nashi pears. The finish is beautifully balanced, with just the right amount of acid, and stays and stays.

Frankland River is one of WA's most respected Riesling producers. This wine shows classic lemon and lime varietal characters with terrific fruit intensity and great cellaring potential.
