Shiraz and Grenache blend beautifully in many of the warmer parts of South Australia. This AAA is Paxton's 9th release, crafted similar to a Rhone-style wine yet it is packed with Au's Terroir. The bouquet has ripe black fruit, mocha and fruitcake spice, with orange rind on show; the palate is dense and unctuous, the bitter chocolate providing a pleasant foil to the ripe black fruit on display.
