Mitchelton Gabriella Possum Yarra Valley Chardonnay

The wine is pale straw in colour with a green tinge looking youthful and fresh, this wine shows classic Yarra Valley regional and varietal aromas of white peach, with subtle elegant French oak interweaved with subtle complex yeast notes. The palate is a sophisticated medium body Chardonnay being a true reflection of the cooler 2020 vintage. There is a fresh but delicate clean acid line, integrated with savour secondary winemaking attributes of oak and yeast autolysis. The wine has a clean extended finish.

2am Yarra Valley Chardonnay 12

The 2021 Yarra Valley Chardonnay opens with aromas of nectarine and hazelnut. Its palate reveals layers of citrus and stone fruit, accented by subtle notes of vanilla and clove. Well-integrated oak provides structure, leading to a creamy finish with hints of toasted brioche and a touch of minerality.

Jones Road Chardonnay

Mornington Peninsula's Jones Road Chardonnay shows restraint, but a focused style with grapefruit, peach and nectarine notes. Subtle oak maturation flavours tie it all together.

Cherry Tree Hill Chardonnay

The 2015 Cherry Tree Hill Chardonnay is a great example of a cool climate wine. The depth of amazing fruit is complimented perfectly by subtle oak tannins integrated from ten months ageing in large format French and Hungarian oak barrels.

Airlie Bank Non-Vintage Sparkling

Airlie Bank dares to treat drinkers with respect by delivering wines that are delicious and true - as well as remarkably good value. Tim Shand and the team enjoy freedom to push boundaries. Their small-batch ethos has led to a great deal of creativity and ever-decreasing doses of sulphur. Bright acitity on the nose with doughy, bready complexities. This wine is fresh and vibrant with a focussed palate structure of apple blossom and citrus characters with complex brioche notes.

Airlie Bank Gris On Skins

Picked from a block of gris on the Napoleone Vineyard in the Yarra Valley which is nurtured to hang a touch longer, with better tannin maturity than the fruit picked for the Punt Road Pinot Gris. Whole berry and whole bunch ferments are conducted in isolation in one-tonne open pots. They were pressed separately to oak this year, but in the end both went in their entirety into the blend. The bunch ferments developed a very significant funk this year, and it was good to see this in the finished wine. The berry ferments supply musk flavour and fruit sweetness. Its all about the bunch though: Campari, aniseed and kombucha. Unfined and minimally filtered. The perfect companion in Spring or Summer.

Paringa Estate Estate Chardonnay

Paringa Estate Estate Chardonnay Mornington Peninsula The fruit for the Estate Chardonnay is sourced from low yielding estate vineyards, some of which are over thirty years old. Constant attention to detail in the vineyard and vine maturity produces fruit of outstanding quality. The fruit is handpicked, whole-bunch pressed, and the unclarified juice is fermented in new (approx 30%) and one-year-old French oak puncheons and barriques. Less stirring in barrel builds weight and complexity. Typically, the wine does not go through malolactic fermentation. Shop Paringa

Garagiste Le Stagiaire Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay

Le Stagiaire Chardonnay is drawn mostly from Garagistes Merricks vineyard, with the balance coming from Balnarring and Tuerong. Barney Flanders doesn't make these wines specifically for this labelall his ferments start out as potential single-vineyard wines, so the single-site wines are barrel selections, with the remaining wines bottled under Le Stagiaire. This provides some idea of how this label is able over-deliver, year in year out.

Barwon Ridge Chardonnay

Whole-bunch pressed, wild fermentation and storage in French oak. This is a flavoursome and crisp cool climate chardonnay.

Punt Road Whole Bunch White

A lovely off white, copper hue to the wine. Not quite rose, but a really appealing blush. The nose has mandarin peel, fennel and a touch of funk and wet earth. Palate is racy, with cumquat and dried flower notes. Finishes with a vanilla note, and a savoury, phenolic bite. Theres skinsy and bunchy notes throughout, but they are in harmony with the pristine fruit and energy of a white wine from this cool, humid year.
