Bin 51 Eden Valley Riesling captures many of the attributes of Eden Valley. Well known for his Barossa Valley Red wines, Kym Teusner is equally at home producing lifted aromatic white wines from hand selected vineyards high in the Eden Valley. His The Empress Riesling comes from a block near Keyneton (about 400m above sea level) and from the Southern Eden Valley adjacent to the High Eden. Both parcels are handled differently with the Keyneton handled oxidatively to had textural notes and shape and the Southern fruit kept clean to offer racing acidity and vibrant citrus notes. A perfect balance.

The peace and tranquillity of Eden Valley's cool climate is ideally suited to yielding clean, pure and fresh flavours of Riesling. Minimal intervention is used during the wine making process, allowing the true characteristics of each vintage and the vines to speak for itself. Clean, crisp chiselled fruit with a long dry finish make the St John's Road Peace of Eden Riesling a wonderfully elegant wine, ideally for immediate drinking but will cellar up to medium term.
