Heggies in Eden Valley is a winery to watch. Their vineyard is one of the highest-altitude vineyards in Australia and their wines scale dizzying heights, too. This Riesling drinks beautifully now, but itll only get better with age. Fresh, zesty and alluring, it exudes confidence.

Louisa Rose is a master when it comes to Riesling and Pewsey Vale consistently over delivers on quality and value every vintage. The current vintage has racy lime juice and citrus blossom with driving mineral acidity on the finish. 'This may be the best-value single vine wine in the country. The cooler climate wine is energetic and precise, rippling with zesty citrus and a bit of blossom, a dusting of talc and sprinkling of lemon thyme. Pristine and youthfully elegant with green apple, lemon/lime peel and floral nuances, its brilliantly focused and linear offering terrific fruit purity and poise. Superbly structured by vibrant acidity, finishing refined and impressively lingering. At its best: 2024 to 2036.

The wine is green and vibrant in appearance, with aromas of zesty lemon and grapefruit. An intense and generous palate, with lively citrus fruit and hints of talc. The wine finishes clean and dry with refreshing, long acidity. As is the case with all great Eden Valley Rieslings, mesh will age gracefully and reliably into a mature wine under the Stelvin closure.

Eden Hall Reserve Riesling made from fruit from select rows in block 8 with a south western aspect. It is pale straw yellow showing a lifted, perfumed floral nose with hints of lavender. Steely minerality on the palate with more lemon than lime. A tight, single minded classic Eden Valley Rizza of impecable pedigree smugly basking in its understated nobility.

Tapanappa is defined by its "distinguished site" philosophy. Late harvested at the end of the March, the riesling fruit was vintaged in the fastidious fashion that has been developed over the past three decades. Tapanappa Eden Valley Riesling 2022 is a pure expression of a unique terroir. Typical of Eden Valley Riesling, the Tapanappa Riesling is very floral with some citrus blossom aromas. There is also the faint and delicate aroma of tea rose and a hint of jasmine. The floral bath-powder aromas are quintessential Riesling varietal character. The palate weight is fine and delicate and despite the late picking almost austere, with a mouth-watering acid finish and lingering fruit sweet flavour.

The Mountadam Eden Valley Riesling is a wonderfully fragrant, hand-picked Riesling showing aromas of lime and green apple, while the palate exhibits added minerality. This wine has plenty on offer now, but will benefit with futher time in the bottle.
