Founded in 2001 Mr. Riggs wine co. is headed by iconic South Australian winemaker Ben Riggs, here we introduce Mr. Riggs first Sauvignon Blanc, Woodside.The Adelaide Hills produces some of the best Sauvignon Blanc in Australia, the Woodside Sauvignon Blanc is no exception, crisp, bright and aromatic with tropical notes of passionfruit, melon and nashi pear.

The fruit for this wine was grown at the Hill Smith Vineyard at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills. The vines at this east-facing vineyard grow in alluvial loam, limestone, shale and quartz, at an altitude of around 400m. Thanks to near-perfect weather, 2021 promises to be one of the best Adelaide Hills vintages in recent memory.

2020 Bleasdale Adelaide Hills Riesling A crisp and refreshing wine with delicate floral and citrus aromas, honeysuckle and lime leaf. The palate is generous in flavour with zesty lemon, lime and crunchy pink lady apple flavours, tangy acid with a clean persistent finish.

Fresh from Henschke's Littlehampton site in the Adelaide Hills, there are little squeaks of telltale bronze tones around the edges, then pears and almonds before a scoop of lychees and a mouth full of bright acids and herbal aromatics lolling around within its typical viscosity.

True to type aromas of brown-skinned pear and red-skinned apple with a savoury element providing some complexity.
