West Cape Howe Book Ends Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep, dark crimson red coloured wine. The rich bouquet emanates dense plum fruit aromas, with hints of smoky oak and berry fruits. A well-textured wine, the palate contains strong flavours of ripe boysenberry and blackberry fruit, with oak characters coming from barrel maturation. This silky wine has great depth and a lovely mouthfeel, and is very well balanced. The gently drying tannins complemented by good acidity contribute to the lengthy finish. This Mount Barker wine can be consumed early, but it gets better when cellared for up to 10 years. The wine is a great partner to seafood and pasta dishes.

Alkoomi Icon Jarrah Shiraz is a deep crimson coloured wine showing garnet shades. Pleasing aromas of plums, dark cherries and tobacco flow from its fragrant nose, making way for a luscious palate brimming with flavours of plum, black cherry, black pepper and leather. These vibrant characters are supported by fine tannins and lively acidity, eventually culminating in a captivating finale. This exquisite Shiraz can be enjoyed upon release. It can be served with peppered steak, grilled lamb and blue cheese.

This premium Cabernet combines elegance and balance reflecting the cool, pristine environment of our farm. The wine cabernet is filled with cedary savour and rich, ripe forest berries, cassis and blueberry. It’s beautifully balanced and partners with roast lamb and rosemary.

The palate is full of juicy berries and earthy notes that are supported by well integrated fine tannins. The lifted textures and aromas of spice and toasted oak in the Cabernet pronounces and accentuates the earthy, savoury undertones of the moist, fleshy duck dish.

The 2018 Extreme Ways Tempranillo has red fruits: cherries, raspberry, mulberry and earthy fresh leather complexity. There is also underlying cardamom and some white flowers. Rich and generous on the palate the 2018 Extreme Ways is a product of perfect ripening in a great Frankland vintage. The succulence is balance by fine graphitic tannins with a gentle drying dustiness on the long finish.

The wine is deep crimson with purple hues. On the nose there are hints of fresh porcini, blackberries, summer thunderstorm, cold steel, cinnamon and white pepper. The palate is truly captivating, combining youthful and finely detailed fruit complexity with slightly wild, earthy and rusty structural elements, true to the varietal integrity, while articulating the personality of the site.
