The Forger has a rich, lingering, persistent finish and is ideal for cellaring.

In the glass: Medium to deep red. On the nose: Red berry, plum, leaf and earth. On the palate: Bright and ripe with an excellent core of red and black berry fruit, savoury, mouth-watering tannins and vibrant persitence. Will improve over the next year or so as the tannins become more silken.

The captivating bouquet of this delicious wine exudes fragrances of plums and ripe raspberries. The medium-bodied palate is juicy, with a subtle mouthfeel of tannins. On the palate, rich plum and black olive characters are now more savoury and complex, complemented by integrated oak and a gentle hint of dark chocolate. The once youthful vibrancy has given way to a smooth, medium-bodied wine.
