A co-ferment amber wine of Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, 100% skins, 100% old oak, 100% natural. Summer in a glass!

Grown on the north facing bank of the Derwent River, the grapes used to produce this outstanding Powerhouse Chardonnay are from decades old cool climate vineyard, widely recognised for producing some of the best Chardonnay fruit in Australia. Grapes are picked early in the flavour spectrum to maintain finesse. Straw in colour, pure delicate fruits are supported by stuble French oak.use and chalky phenolics which are carried by fine acid line. Malolactic fermentation allows the round fullness of lactic acid to fill out the back palate leaving a creamy mouthfeel. White peach, nutmeg/spice and butterscotch on the nose with white peach, citrus fruits, oatmeal on the palate. This wine can be cellared for 15 years and pairs well with seafood, chicken, pasta and risotto dishes.

Clemens Hill was founded over 20 years ago in a remarkable setting within the bucolic Coal River Valley. The wines of Clemens Hill are and will always be, an expression of the whims of nature inexorably bound to the wisdom of winemaking. Indeed, the pursuit of a vinous expression of place takes precedence over the pursuit of accolades, but perhaps as a result of that philosophy, over time the wines have become festooned with prizes and accolades. Clemens Hill vineyard nestles into the north-east facing slopes of the ancient glacial carving that is the Coal River Valley. It sits just 75m above sea level and is cooled by maritime valley breezes while capturing the bright crystalline sun. It enjoys both shelter and exposure. Rainfall is a capricious 500mm per annum, so it is supplemented with irrigation in times of stress. Flinty minerality with hint of nougat, white peach and mouth-watering lime citrus on the nose. A punchy, powerful palate with delicious salty caramel richness right at the end. On the finish, the fruit powers through and the acid hits a crystal clean note.

Frogmore Creek is a superb cool-climate Chardonnay from Tasmania that shows stonefruit and citrus varietal aromas which are enhanced by quality oak. The palate is beautifully structured with tight natural acidity. A very complex and subtle style.

Hailing from the Derwent Valley in Tasmania, the Simla Blanc Field Blend 2018 is a beautiful blend of chardonnay, riesling, and sauvignon blanc. It is a fresh and wild expression of the terroir. This wine has hints of lemongrass, textured grapefruit, river stone, quartzite, and white camellia flower. Domaine Simha was founded at the edge of the world by Nav Singh and Louise Radman. An avant-garde approach shapes living wine relying on ancient knowledge and intuition. Crafted by hand in micro batches, just 2-3 barrels of each Domaine Simha wine are made. At heart lies Tasmania’s pristine natural environment, sparkling air and ancient soil.

Pale golden colour. Fresh, clean, faintly herbal aromas with a hint of sweetness. Palate is lightly peppery, delicate & fresh with crisp apple, lychee & lime peel and a lingering mango finish. Well balanced acidity & very good. Subtle & harmonious. Limited third release.
