John Tate is one of Western Australia's most iconic & well respect wine names. This range honours his legacy and regional impact represented through the underlying patterns of the ancient trees of Margaret River a living history of the region that he helped make. The Maker Shiraz exhibits ripe plum and dark cherry fruit with hints of spiced charred oak and dark chocolate. Aged in seasoned French oak barrels, and best served with grilled meats.

A high quality wine from the first whiff of the bouquet through to the long finish...has a tapestry of flavours from the base of Cabernet...all supported by persistent but ripe tannins, the oak absorbed by the fruit. Winning the prestigious Decanter International Trophy, we snaffled as much of this wine as we could. Very limited.

Vasse Felix produces fine Margaret River reds with great balance and style. Sandalford Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is simply put, a sensational wine! Complex on the nose with violets, tomato leaf, cigar box and spice, it is beautifully structured on the palate, with rich fleshy fruit filling out the tannin backbone.

Showing trademark characters of cassis, tabacco, earthiness along with fragrant aroma of mulberry, black currant and dusty oak, that can only be described as exhilarating.
