Intense purple colour with reddish hues. Aromatically, the wine displays blackcurrant, forest fruits and a good pinch of crushed leaf with oak derived dark spices. On the palate the wine enters smoothly, with rich red fruits, followed by a nice silky mid palate mouth feel. Well-integrated oak contributes to the finish of the wine.Drinking wonderfully now, this wine has been carefully cellared and is being released as a premium Cottontail wine. It showcases varietal aromas of spice and plum, whilst the palate displays concentrated berry characters with well-integrated American oak for eight months leading to a harmonious finish. Occupying some of the more elevated land in the Canberra District, Quarry Hill produces a Shiraz with ripe flavours and excellent natural acids; the hallmarks of great cool-climate Shiraz. Aged in a mix of new and older French oak, the wine is bright purple in the glass, follwed by aromas of raspberry, plum, spice and a little pepper. Through the palate, there are flavours of mulberry and plum, fine tannins and a crisp, dry finish.

With access to some of Bordeaux's finest appellations, the Mouton Cadet is considered the premier affordable Bordeaux wine on the market today. Hard to argue when attractive notes of blueberry, morello cherry and blackcurrant simply cascade from the glass creating a truly memorable red wine experience. Sourced from growers from limestone rich soils of the Entre-Deux-Mers and Côtes de Bordeaux to the clay soils around Blaye and the gravel rich Côtes de Bourg. All contributing to what is possibly the bargain old world wine of the year.

Murrumbateman is perfect area for this variety producing wine with cherry, nutty dominated flavours with a hint of spice and juniper too. The palate is medium weight with a great acid balance and fine tannins. Have with any kind of food that resembles Italian - a great food wine.

Pure Vision's Organic Merlot is an outstanding value Merlot, taking on bottle aged secondary flavours of poached plum and soft tannins, yet still vibrant and youthful in spirit. Delicious.
