Wilds Gully NAP Classic Dry White

Wild Gully vineyard is managed with a commitment to minimal chemical use. With an environmental science background John Stokes planted his Wood Park vineyard amongst regenerating natural bush land in the foothills of the Victorian Alps in 1989. This is a great example of his commitment to preservative free wine, a drink now style rich in citrus pear apple and honey followed on the palate with nectarines and grapefruit and a crisp satifying finish.

Risky Business King Valley Pinot Grigio

King Valley Fiano

This wine displays the depth and balance for which this variety has developed a cult wine personality following. On the nose it displays aromas of guava, citrus and subtle marjoram spice. Wrapping around a core of chalky minerality are flavours of nectarine, citrus, melon and hazelnuts. Bringing it all together is a bitter almond character that complements the savoury and textured finish. Drink now or be rewarded with cellaring for up to 10 years.

Gapsted Limited Release Chardonnay

Fresh and energetic chardy from Victoria’s High Country. Nutty, a little savoury and cheesy in parts, but with zippy stone fruit acidity that bristles on the palate. This is a wonderful example of high altitude brightness that doesn’t become overly lean or stingy. Nectarine, whole lemon, apricot, white peach - this has got it all. Complex and generous chardy under fifteen bucks? Sounds like a steal to me.

Cloak & Dagger The Dagger Pinot Grigio

This pale straw coloured wine has a nose for lifted aromatics that is punctuated with crisp Nashi pear, honeysuckle and lemon verbena scents. The palate shows a lovely texture that is balanced by pear and lively citrus zest. Pair this vibrant wine with summer pasta dishes or Spaghetti Vongole.

Little Vespa Pinot Grigio

Pinot Grigio is an invigorating grape variety and unlike other white varietals it processes a distinctive mineral and chalky mouth feel, whilst still retaining delicious fruit flavours. Uniquely the wines are more about style and texture, than sheer fruit weight. Light yellow with green colour. tinges with apple, pear and fresh lemongrass flavours underpinned by a lingering and miner ally palate. We have opted for a drier style as this in combination with the textural mouth feel allows the variety to showcase its nuances. Enjoy in partnership with an aperitif, antipasto, Asian food, light meals. Drink over short to medium term

Brown Brothers Orange Muscat & Flora

This blend is unique to Brown Brothers. Orange Muscat is the flavour powerhouse bringing orange blossom to the nose and citrus to the palate. Flora contributes texture and mouth feel on the palate.

Twin Valleys Fiano

Fiano is one of the newer Italian arrivals on the scene and we couldn’t be happier that it’s here. Fiano is a versatile grape and suits a lot of growing conditions, from the Mediterranean climate of McLaren Vale to the alpine freshness of the King Valley. This KV example is a touch lighter and brighter than what you’d get from the Vale - sitting closer to grigio than say, viognier. There is still heaps of fruit and florals in this wine and acid to accompany all sorts of foods - though no doubt best with something southern Italian.

Twin Valleys Pinot Grigio

Italy’s leading grape varieties have an established home in the King Valley, including the ever-popular pinot grigio. This example of the grape is bright with citrus and pear on the nose and freshness from the nose to the palate with a crisp, minerally finish - a lively white that’s ripe with enthusiasm. From a weekend BBQ to a plate of spaghetti marinara over candlelight, it’s a flexible food wine that is sure to please.
