Grenache has long been a stalwart of the South Australian wine scene and Penfolds have been blending Grenache with Shiraz since the 1950's. Oyster Bay Sparkling Cuvée Rosé is a delicious combination of the elegant and zesty Chardonnay fruit which brings finesse, and the fragrant rich Pinot Noir which gives soft red berry fruit characters to the wine. The lively bubbles in the wine are a result of natural secondary fermentation, which brings to life the delightful and refreshing character.

One of the earliest and most condensed in history thanks largely to a dry and warm growing season. A very wet July was followed by some of the driest spring months on record, led to some great flavour and colour development and the resulting wines are packed with delicious ripe flavours.

As our objective is to obtain the best quality grapes and wines, we have created relationships with the local grape growers, committed beside Caves desclans, whose vineyards are treated with the same high standards of quality as are the vineyards of Château desclans.

Clean, bright and fruit driven with strawberries and cream, cranberry, candy floss and subtle hints of nougat and spice. The palate is long and focused with light and soft texture. There is strawberries and cream with spiced red apple leading to a soft long finish.
