The Kennedy is a blend of old vine Barossa Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre. Its named in honour of the legendary Barossa vignerons who were instrumental in planting these old precious vineyards. Grenache from 50-year-old vines dominates the blend and all varieties are fermented separately at very warm temperatures for optimal extraction of colour, tannins and flavour. Kennedy is matured in seasoned French hogsheads and puncheons for up to 16 months.

Opens with a burst of intense red fruits: raspberry, strawberry and redcurrant, supported by a touch of pepper. The palate confirms the nose finishing in a lovely dry fruitiness.

Fresh and fruity, this La Vieille Ferme Rosé has all the characteristics of an attractive summer drop. With notes of fresh fruit and a nice balance between the sweetness and acidity, you can taste the quality of the fruit from the exceptional 2016 vintage.

As our objective is to obtain the best quality grapes and wines, we have created relationships with the local grape growers, committed beside Caves desclans, whose vineyards are treated with the same high standards of quality as are the vineyards of Château desclans.
