Alain Pascal is the man mountain behind the Domaine du Gros'Noré - a man big is stature, and big in character. These traits are refelcted in his terroir specific wines of the Bandol sub-region in Provence; muscular and complex, yet soft, supple and thoroughly engaging. There are only a few wineries nestled in the rolling hills of Geographe, but they are producing some lovely wine, as youll discover in this classic GSM. In the glass: Deep, dark red purple. On the nose: Inky dark berry fruit with notes of toasty oak and iodine. On the palate: A core of plum and mulberry tempered by fresh herb and stalk notes, hints of vanillin oak and juicy acidity.

Made from a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah and Carignan grapes, harvested in the cool of the night to retain maximum freshness and aroma. Gently pressed to create the delicate pink colour and maintain fruit purity. Deep pink in colour with purple hues, the nose reveals intense aromas of wild strawberries and raspberries with notes of garrigue. The mouth is delicious and fresh. It reveals a pleasant length and well-structured freshness. "Prestige" in every way!

Domaine de la Rouvière Côtes de Provence Rosé is based on a blend of cinsault, grenache and syrah and derives from vineyards around Pierrefeu du Var, about 30 kilometres from Toulon and about an hours drive from St Tropez. The rocky landscape dominated by the Massif de Maure is typically undulating with pine forests and a large expanse of vineyards; many on south facing slopes. The warm Mediterranean growing season followed by night harvesting lead to optimum fruit ripeness and retention of acidity. Cool-vinification preserves fruitiness, freshness and transparency. The beautifully packaged Domaine de la Rouvière Rosé possesses a pretty light pink colour, attractive strawberry red cherry, raspberry aromas, plentiful fresh fruit flavours and crisp acidity. It works well as an aperitif with olive tapenade or anchovies on toast. Or pair with summer salads, charcuterie, grilled fish or BBQ meats.
