The ruggedly spectacular vineyards of Tasmania have proved themselves capable of producing such fine sparkling wine that many think them the most serious challenger to the great Champagnes. The traditional grapes of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir make this Distant South sparkling, a wine of finesse and complexity, of length and flavour. A Rich toastiness mingles with crisp apple notes, backed by a persistent creamy texture. A sparkling wine of outstanding quality.

Barringwood Mill Block Pinot Noir shows a soft raspberry red colour in the glass. The wine presents a generous nose of cherries and raspberries underlined by earthy and cherry tones. The gentle and fruity palate gives way to delicate spiciness and vibrant minerality. These enticing characters culminate the wine in a long and elegant finish marked by fine and powdery tannins. This tempting Tasmanian Pinot Noir tastes excellent with truffles, dark chocolate, or washed rind cheese.

The nose leads with freshly picked strawberriesand cream, and pink grapefruit. The palate shows restraint with delicate strawberry fruit, bright and elegant minerality, grapefruit pith, and a soft supple lingering finish.

Sourced from selected vineyard sites across Tasmania, this Jansz Tasmania Special Release Rosé 2016 is crafted from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This Rosé is crafted from hand-picked grapes that are gently whole bunch pressed before cool fermentation.This pretty pink wine showcases the fresh house style of Jansz Tasmania, whilst showcasing the beguiling aromatics inherent to Tasmanian sparkling Pinot Noir. Pinot Noir is the hero variety with delicious flavours of strawberries and cream, rose petals and musk being predominant. The palate is creamy and textured, whilst retaining an elegant vibrancy and freshness.

The E.J. Carr Late Disgorged is a special, 30th anniversary release housed in a limited 1566 bottle edition. This spectacular wine is a true showcase of the prestige of the House of Arras style with its hallmark craftsmanship of extended lees aging - this wine for almost two decades. The Bouquet, Aromas of classical lemon curd and marzipan intertwine with hints of fresh brioche, field mushroom, truffle and caramelised walnuts. The Palate, An elegant and refined palate with notes of lemon curd, roasted almond and nougat alongside underlying yeasty and creme brulee characters. The low dosage accentuates the vivacity and purity of the fruit. Undergoing 16 years in tirage allows superb depth and complexity to the palate. Enjoy as an aperitif and as a versatile accompaniment to an array of gastronomy, most notably fresh seafood. The cool slopes of the Tamar Valley region, located in northern Tasmania, have the potential to produce great sparkling wine. This richly flavoured cuvée made from Chardonnay and Pinot noir by Pirie boasts complexity from barrel-aged base wine and reserve blending. It displays the impact of terroir and the favourable interaction of climate and soil on these vines.

Northern Tasmania is widely known for the quality of sparkling wine produced in the cool climate region, with the first 1995 vintage of Pirie doing much to establish this reputation. Now a new chapter is born with Pirie NV Sparkling - A full flavoured cuvýe from a blend of chardonnay and pinot noir, boasting complexity and freshness. A vibrant lemony acidity with a full and rich mid-palate leads to slaty, mineral finish.

Taltarni Sparkling Brut has crisp green apple with a touch of toast on the bouquet, the palate is fine and refreshing with persistent bubbles and a dry lingering finish. Excellent as an aperitif or with lighter style dishes.
