Vasse Felix Chardonnay is a pure, elegant and vibrant style of Chardonnay, embracing the region's powerful fruit with complexity and restraint to express the environment, with the hallmarks of Vasse Felix's premier vineyards.

The Lenton Brae Southside Chardonnay plays off the already established Wilyabrup Chardonnay with a fresh, vibrant feel to the wine. A cleansing line of acid is evident throughout the palate as is the textured mouthfeel courtesy of 'wild' primary fermentation and the addition of quality oak to the process. Designed to be enjoyed in its youth, this classic Margaret River Chardonnay will also enjoy some short to medium-term cellaring to coax out its true essence.

An elegant, vibrant and fragrant nose with lemon, lime and pear in the foreground. Notes of peach blossom and subtle jasmine create lift and combines with cardamom pod, almond meal and roasted cashew. The palate has immense purity, with power and persistence. Lime and lemon pith define the palate, which carries through to a delicately layered middle, threaded with a fine mineral spine. Sesame seed and blanched almonds enhance complexity, finishing with a sparkling acid structure. This wine has energy in its youth, and will build texture with cellaring.

Lifted ripe nashi pears, lemon, quince, and melon, lying beneath are notes of freshly grown lavender blossom with hints of sweet baked apple pie crust and cassia bark from the wines time on yeast lees in bottle. A lovely textural palate is evident immediately, showing quince, subtle lime and just caramelized nougat. This Leeuwin Estate Brut Pinot Noir Chardonnay displays a fine bead that threads the acid line into a seductive mouth filling and long palate.

Lets roll in the hay with Chardonnay. Off the stunning Burnside vineyard. Hand harvested, whole bunch pressed to a mix of large format oak & amphora. Natural ferment plus malo then simply racked to bottled on a stunning fruit day.

A blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Malbec matured in a combination of new and used French oak barriques for 15 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted red to black currant and mulberry aromas are intermeshed with black olive, spicy cedar, tobacco and bay leaf notes. Medium bodied the palate features a mix of ripe red currant and mulberry fruits over cedary tobacco characters, dusty earth and spicy bay leaf. Fine yet nicely structured tannins with a refined mid length conclusion. Drink over the next 6-8 years. Alc. 13.5%

Rich stone fruit core with butterscotch and smooth balanced oak.
