Clarendon Hills is a small family owned winery which produce wine to the highest standard. Bleasdale's Senior Winemaker Paul Hotker is James Hallidays Winemaker of the Year 2018. The magnificent fruit for Bleasdales Powder Monkey comes from Hotker's finest Shiraz block, directly behind the winery the oldest in Langhorne Creek. Powder Monkey is named in honour of a young Frank Potts who, at age nine, joined the British Royal Navy as a powder monkey diminutive crew members charged with carrying gunpowder during battle. Later, in 1850, an older and wiser Frank Potts would found the first winery in Langhorne Creek.

Full bodied with rich flavours of plums, blackcurrants and dark spice. Soft and satisfying on the palate with a beautiful mouthfeel and finish.

Grey Label Cabernet Shiraz exemplifies the distinction, elegance, and power of Langhorne Creek. Evolving since the very first blend in 1967, it remains constant in the quality, character and style that distinguishes Grey Label.

The 2016 vintage offers a clarity of vision that will allow 2016 Heartland One to grow and prosper for many years to come. The intensity of this wine provides all the impetus required for long term cellaring, while the deft handling of oak and the finely tuned acidity will ensure that it stays on track to be a balanced and generous wine. Dark fruit dominates the palate at this stage, while the structure is discernable and ready to support the wine.

The Selkirk is an excellent Shiraz from Bremerton and has a rich spicy flavour with a hint of pepper and a long, lingering finish - classic Langhorne Creek in style in a very well made package that can be both a drink now style or cellar nicely for the medium term.

Chapel Hill makes great value wines in the maritime climate of McLaren Vale. This Shiraz is a beauty. Dark berries and vanillin oak are evident in the bouquet with spice coming through on the palate.

Produced from low yielding, hand harvested vines and made using traditional techniques, D'Arry's Original is a smooth, textured, full bodied red which typifies the generous McLaren style.
