Our tropical take on a traditional sloe gin; swapping sloe berries for locally grown Far North Queensland Davidson Plums. The plums are steeped for up to 3 months to produce a truly unique sloe style gin. With an earthy aroma that is reminiscent of plum jam, stewed rhubarb and a touch of sweetness. The first spirit in the World to be made from sheep whey and recent winner of Worlds Best Vodka (World Vodka Awards 2018) judged in London amongst the worlds leading Vodkas. Each Bottle is hand sprayed black and the label hand written and signed by Ryan Hartshorn (Head distiller) The spirit is made by fermenting the lactose sugar within the whey which is the waste from our sheep cheesery which is on the same farm where we milk our animals. Very Small 80-100 bottle batches. The spirit is unfiltered which is rare for a vodka. This means you will get a lot of character remaining from the whey which is a sweet nose and creamy mouth feel. This vodka is designed to drink straight at room temperature. Serve alone in a large aromatic glass or as a vodka martini with a pair of quality green olives.

Our 'Founders Gin' is a delicious, delicately balanced gin, with juniper forward notes and a citrus sweet lemon myrtle, giving and orange sweetening freshness. It's thoroughly enjoyable neat, with tonic and, of course, as a mixer.

Tradition coupled with contemporary flair, Vickers Pink Gin carries aromas of ripe strawberries, raspberries and blackcurrants, finishing with a familiar hint of juniper. Tasting of berries, with undertones of traditional Gin, the blend delivers a unique flavour and smooth finish. Best enjoyed as one-part Gin, three-parts tonic. Garnish with berries for an extra burst of flavour.

“I really thought I had an original idea, alas, no. Saffron gin has been done before in France. I think the Brocken Specter Summer Gin is the first Australian saffron gin we use 100% Tasmanian grown saffron and never add any coloring. For the base we combine 16 aromatics including juniper, coriander seed, lemon myrtle, strawberry gum, star anise and vanilla bean. This mix is added to a grape based spirit and left over night. This spirit/aromatic base re-distilled, after at full strength we add the saffron. After a few days the saffron stamens are completely white and simply strained out. The gin is gluten free, vegan and unfiltered. Try a summer gin with good tonic, fresh chilies and thyme!”
