We genuinely never get sick of these wines. We know, it’s hard not to get excited about Champagne- but this one is extra special. Year on year, no matter the weather, we’re drinking Nicolas Maillart. The family have been growing vines in Montagne de Reims for nearly 300 years, now into their 9th generation with Nicolas at the helm. The grower Champagne revolution has meant families like the Maillarts could hone their centuries of experience, producing outstanding terroir driven styles. The family philosophy of biodiversity and minimal input vineyard practices continues today- seriously, you can’t be in the game this long without a sustainable outlook on viticulture.

A life without Champagne will always be missing something. One of nature’s purest gifts needs to be experienced, so why waste another day? The occasional (or regular) breakfast Champagne is one of life’s joys, and a ‘blanc de blancs’ is the style to suit those joyous moments. ‘Extra brut’? Even better. This style of dry Champagne translates to without sweetness. The acidity is naturally balanced, kept in focus like a crystalline clean laser beam on the lips. This is pristine Champagne - with perfect precision and poise. Bone dry yet wildly enticing.

High drinkability, suitable for many occasions, but still with the distinguishable elegance and finesse of a blanc de blancs champagne, smoothness and crisp acidity on the palate.

Heidsieck & Co Monopole Champagne Brut NV is a pale yellow colour. The palate is primarily yellow fruit oriented, particularly peach on the outset. The nose has aromas of stewed fruits with hints of honey. There are also floral notes providing a foretaste of the lightness of the champagne. The mouth, similar to the nose, is fruit dominated with cherry plumes, oranges, and peaches. Fresh, elegant, and delicate, this brut Champagne is very pleasant on the palate.
