Balanced and elegant tannins, nicely integrated oak, gives the wine balance and structure. Ø WINEMAKING Each parcel of fruit is gently crushed and transferred into small open fermenters. Heading down boards keep the cap submerged for better skin contact. The fermenters are temperature controlled to provide optimum conditions. Gentle extraction is achieved by the draining of wine from the skins and returning back over. Wine is then transferred to temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for maturation. Take It To The Grave Shiraz is vivid red and purple in colour with an expansive nose of blackberries, blood plums and chocolaty oak. The palate is opulent and inviting with dark plum and blackcurrant fruit flavours matched by dried herbs, cloves and subtle spicy oak.

Logan's Apple Tree Flat wines pay homage to the people, places and experiences of the Logan winery on the label, but also within the bottle. Quality, varietal and terroir specific can be used to describe these wines and inparticular the Shiraz. In the glass the wine is a lovely crimson red colour which precedes a nose of fresh red berries and hint of earthen tones. In the mouth the wine truly sings with a mixture of berries, plums and spice.
