Curtis Family Vineyards Pasha Shiraz, McLaren Vale
The Curtis family traces its history back to 1499 (not a typo, 523 years ago!) when Paolo Curtis was appointed by Cardinal de Medici to administer Papal lands in the area around Cervaro. The family has been growing grapes and making wine in McLaren Vale since 1973, having come to Australia some years previously. The Pasha McLaren Vale Shiraz pays homage to the ways of the past. Bursting with ripe red berries, Aromas of coconut & hints of vanilla. Full bodied palate structure with a complex mix of flavours, ripe red berries, coconut, chocolate & spice. Great middle palate sweetness with well integrated oak characters. Long & almost chewy tannins with a well balanced finish.
