Ben Riggs has hand-crafted a delicious Shiraz Cabernet Merlot blend here that pays homage to the three-spiked prickle that can be found in the McLaren Vale region and the fact that it's hard to ignore. This unctuous red blend is also extremely hard to ignore with its seamless varietal integration that produces a wine full of richness and opulence. Ripe, dark berry fruits courtesy of Merlot along with spice elements from the Shiraz and a firm, but balanced structure from the Cabernet all come together superbly.

The premium fruit parcels for this Shiraz wine were sent to the winerys Vintage House and crushed into 7-decade old concrete vats. Fermentation was carried out by wild yeasts found on the skins of the fruit. This was followed by careful extraction. Post fermentation maceration was done next and the drink transferred to American and French oak hogsheads for malolactic fermentation. 14 to 16 months later, the resultant wine was racked and filtered.

Medium bodied, with lots of chocolate and blackberry, sophisticated supple tannins supporting deep fruits and appealing savoury balance. Has enormous appeal now yet will age gracefully for 8-12 years.

Attractive deep black-red in the glass. Soft and rich berry fruits on the palate. Fine tannins on the finish allow the berry flavours to linger elegantly. The vines are grown on the sandy soil of Blewitt Springs, machine-harvested, crushed, 7 days on skins, matured for 18 months in various hogsheads.

Displays generous aromas of mulberries, dusted with exotic Indian spices. The luscious palate is brimming with both Aniseed and Satsuma plum flavours that seamlessly integrate into the persistent mouth coating tannins.

Vincents Breeze wines take their name from a picturesque stretch of water found between the Fleurieu and Yorke peninsula in South Australia known as the Gulf St Vincent. These wines were created by blending a number of separate vineyard parcels with the aim of balancing the strengths of each. Medium to full bodied with dark fruit flavours, hints of wild herb and cedar. A perfectly balanced wine with generous fruit flavours and velvety tannins.
