Forty Spotted Rare Tasmanian Gin is hand distilled in small copper pot stills using the steeping method of Gin production and use of traditional botanicals of juniper berry, coriander and lemon peel creating a traditional London Dry style, but incorporating something a little bit special to give this Gin a unique finish.

Pine needle, brushed rosemary, lemon oil, earthy root extending into fragrant pepper. The palate is immediately fragrant with a bright citrus character up front. Oily and intense, the juniper is prominent, supported by the earthy undertones of angelica and orris root and extended by the addition of wooded spices and pepper. The finish is long and complex with a rich creaminess that dries out almost immediately. Head Distiller Graham Buller collected prime barrels of Scotch whisky and American Bourbon whiskey, with a dream of creating his perfect blend. The Scotch has an average of five years barrel maturation and the Bourbon two, while the final blend has gone back into bourbon barrels for finishing.

Poltergeist Gin is produced in small batches at the historic Shene Distillery in Pontville, Tasmania. Poltergeist Unfiltered retains the full flavour profile of all twelve botanicals, completely covering the front, middle and back of the pallet with a long lingering finish.
