After spending the past 3 years in our cellar programme, the 2017 Yering Station "Yarra" Pinot Noir emerges in all of its autumnal glory. The soft red fruit and violet aroma is now nuanced with the brambly undergrowth character that many "pinotphiles" seek. Tasted in October, 2022, this is a wine at its peak, although another year in your cellar will do no harm.

Made using the Petillant Naturel method aka Pet Nat, this wine is a rock star in and out of the bottle. Made from a blend of the energetic chardonnay from the famous Saltwater River vineyard and pinot noir rose. It sees a small amount of new oak for added texture. This is some seriously good pet nat, living up to Tasmania's reputation as the home of Australian fizz.

Named Norfolk Bay in 1978, after the vessel on which Mathew Flinders sailed during his circumnavigation of Tasmania. The large inlet located on the Tasman Peninsula enjoys a temperate marine environment ideally suited for producing exceptional cool climat
