Their wines are rich and layered, elegant and nuanced with a natural harmony and balance. They meticulously blend old and new techniques to craft wines with exceptional quality and unique character. Their vineyard soils are a mix of ancient volcanic soils, clay and sandy loam which gives the vines excellent drainage and also causes the vines to grow deep into the substrate in order to seek nutrients. The days are warm and long, and the nights are cool and refreshing, enabling the grapes to ripen slowly, gently building layers of flavours and soft textural elements while retaining natural acidity. The resulting wines are rich and powerful, yet beguiling and enchanting.
Barossa Old Vine Company Shiraz
The Barossa Old Vine Company has been 100 years in the making. They individually craft wines from the Barossa's finest fruit using the best (not necessarily modern equipment). The vines are anywhere from 35 to 100 years old and with award winning winemaker Nick Badrice at the helm it's not surprising this Shiraz is special. 2014 is the first vintage they released and the wines are produced in such small volumes you won't want to miss your chance to add this unique Barossa red to your cellar.

Secret Selections McLaren Vale Shiraz
This McLaren Vale Shiraz is full bodied and with rich presence, the palate has abundant flavours of blackberry, early season fresh cherry - all vibrant and energetic with a hint of quality oak. The wine displays a rich bouquet of plum, cherry and forest floor and fragrant violets. A brilliant modern take on Shiraz.
Yarnbomb McLaren Vale Shiraz
Yarnbombing' - a type of street art where public areas (like statues or trees) are decorated with yarn - is all about giving something traditional a modern twist. So it shouldn't be surprising that Corrina Wright, the unconventional and bright South Australian winemaker, used it as the name for her new wine. As a tribute to her grandmother, whose love of craft inspired Corina as a child, Corrina and family 'yarnbombed' a vine that had been cared for by family members for generations. But the wine itself is a worthy dedication on its own, offering nougat, mulberry and pepper notes on the palate with soft, generous tannins, meaty spice and a fresh lifted finish.
Goundrey Homestead Shiraz
This wine is great value! Sweet berry and plum fruit accompany typical black pepper varietal characters, which is nicely integrated with the vanillin oak flavours. An appealing easy drinking Shiraz from Goundrey.
