An elegant and restrained cool-climate style Shaw & Smith M3 Chardonnay has been at the forefront of the modern Australian Chardonnay renaissance. Displaying notes of nectarine and citrus underpinned by crisp acidity, it evolves over time to reveal layers of toasty, mealy complexity.

This vintage Riesling was harvested from the Central Otago wine region. It has an alcohol level of 8.4% and the colour of this medium-sweet white wine is a glittering pale white gold. Primary fruit aromas of nectarine, apricot, honey-crisp apple, citrus, spring blossoms and plum flow off the nose, with underpinned fragrances of honeycomb, ginger and clove. The palate features flavours of apple, pear and mineral nuances, with a touch of honey that fills the mouth and leaves a fresh taste. The mid-palate is filled with notes of tangerine and lime. The balanced sweetness and fine acidity are brought to fruition by a long and cleansing finish. This wine is best served at 43°F. Here are a few food suggestions: honey-roasted pork with braised vegetables, stir-fried shrimp with bacon, fried semolina dumplings with apricots, and snapper with charred tomatillos.

Mount Horrocks Cabernet Sauvignon is the result of Stephanie Tooles expertise in finding the right balance between fruit richness and oak maturation. Beautifully marrying these two components has given birth to a poised, well-structured, and delicious wine that will keep you wanting more. The nose is a fragrant display of light herbs, fresh mint and red currant aromas with hints of cedar-like oak. The palate boasts of delightfully ripe tannins, and features red currant and other classic dark fruit flavours. This dark and inky Cabernet Sauvignon will definitely blow you away with its complexity, depth and vibrancy. It pairs very well with savoury beef, game meats and cheese.

The grapes for our 2016 Showy Willow Sauvignon Blanc come from a small vineyard at the top of Willunga Hill in the Adelaide Hills. The fruit was hand pick and progressively transported to our winemaker in McLaren for crushing and fermentation. Aromas This is a pale yellow-green wine presenting intensely tropical aromas with passionfruit and pineapple leading to a rich full palate.

The 2013 Kanta Riesling is a youthful green gold in the glass. The nose entices with notes of lemon curd, buttery pastry, honeysuckle and kaffir lime leaf, backed by lovely tertiary notes of brown lime cordial and a hint of kerosene. The palate is yielding and fleshy, but remarkably fresh for 8 years old. At first the palate yields pineapple and baked lemon pudding, well supported by gentle acidity. The time on lees and maturation in bottle means that this is a wine that has truly settled into its own skin. Ten months in French oak (30% new), the fruit from one of our highest yielding vintages is brilliant straw green in colour and displays light citrus aromas combined with white stonefruit and a wonderful creamy multi layered finish from extended time on lees. Excellent cellaring potential.
