Hauntingly akin to a Northern Rhone example, violets, spice, wild herb and earth wrap around a delicious core of red fruits and plum. Bravo Nick O'Leary. It's made by the talented John Quarisa, who has enjoyed a “distinguished career as a winemaker spanning over 20 years” (Halliday). John likes his wines to express big personality and juicy fruit and value for money – he’s certainly achieved that here! Ripe and round blackberries conspire with flavours of plum and cinnamon spice. On the palate, rich red berries and brewed coffee make for a very appealing wine.

19 Crimes Shiraz is full and round on the palate with a subtle sweetness giving a rich and round mouth feel. The vanilla aromatics carry through on the palate and compliment subtle flavours of raspberries, dark plums, and chocolate leading to a lingering finish.

The wine is deep purple in colour and the nose exhibits dark plums and warms spices. The palate is an explosion of brambly fruits and fiine cedar-like oak nicely wrapped in a slinky tannin structure.

Light bodied wine, early harvested grapes resulting in a lower alcohol content. Full luscious berry, plum & spice, with a smooth finish.

The Yellow Tail Shiraz has aromas of ripe berries and sweet vanilla. Spicy, sweet fruit flavours on the palate are matched with subdued earthy tones and fine tannins.

A typically full flavoured Clare Valley Shiraz from the crew at Annie's Lane; exhibiting ripe, plummy fruit characters with a touch of spice and some regional minty notes.

Brown Brothers Dolcetto & Syrah is a firm favourite of sweet red wine lovers. It is deep red in colour with pinky purple hues, sweet fruit and red berries on the nose. The palate shows strawberries and a hint of musk with a long sweet mid palate and a long soft finish.

In the glass: Full red.On the nose: Cherry berry, plum and cedar lift.On the palate: Dense and full-bodied with firm yet ripe tannin depth under a rich core of dark fruits with black pepper and liquorice on the long, bright finish.

The Wolf Blass Grey Label Shiraz is an opulent concentrated and complex style with plenty of spicy fruit and a dash of chocolate. True to the style that Wolf himself made from the very beginning of this now iconic brand, this is very tasty and enjoyable now yet it has the weight and complexity to improve with cellaring.
