Intense aromas of violets, blackberry and subtle chocolate herald this mouth staining Durif’s inky dark fruit characters of blackberry, anise and smoky liquorice. Slightly sparkling - frizzante - this is an excellent example of Lambrusco from Modena in north-eastern Italy. Soft and mildly sweet it has only 8% alcohol and is a perfect thirst quencher on a sunny afternoon or as a partner for pizza!
