Langhorne Creek is situated on the Fleurieu Peninsula of South Australia and is home to some of the world's oldest grape vines. Shiraz is one of the hallmark varietals of Langhorne Creek, producing big, full bodied red wines. This Shiraz from Oak Lane is a great example of the premium wines which come from this region.

The Hill Block straddles the ridge running through the Chapel Hill estate. The wine was then aged for 19 months in 100% tight grained French oak. The proportion of new oak was kept low to encourage the continued expression of the characters that are unique to the vineyard site.
