Bernoota was the original name of the Lake Breeze homestead and now the Bernoota Shiraz Cabernet is rightfully considered to be one of Australia's favourite Shiraz Cabernet blends. And they don't come much better than Bernoota for the price! Not only is it rich and luscious, filled with blackcurrant, spice and pepper, it has a touch of dark chocolate on the finish. The 2009 is a 60% Shiraz and 40% Cabernet blend and spends 20 months in a mixture of French and American Oak that will see the wine not only be enjoyable now, but develop beautifully in the bottle for a further 8 to 10 years.

Black garnet color. Bright aromas and flavors of blackberry pie, pistachio nougat, and powdered lime with a satiny, lively, fruity medium-to-full body and a smooth, complex, long blueberry cobbler, minty spices, and chocolate finish with chewy tannins and moderate oak.

Ben Riggs has hand-crafted a delicious Shiraz Cabernet Merlot blend here that pays homage to the three-spiked prickle that can be found in the McLaren Vale region and the fact that it's hard to ignore. This unctuous red blend is also extremely hard to ignore with its seamless varietal integration that produces a wine full of richness and opulence. Ripe, dark berry fruits courtesy of Merlot along with spice elements from the Shiraz and a firm, but balanced structure from the Cabernet all come together superbly.

Their Giant Squid Ink Shiraz shows brilliant purple hues and violets on the nose and with brilliant use of French Oak, the palate is smooth, velvety and concentrated with all the berry fruit one can handle.

Fruity aromas and subtle hints of choc mint make Colonel & Merchant Shiraz Cabernet is a must have for the weekend. A well-rounded palate of sweet and savoury includes dark berry fruits and velevety tannins with a strong finish.

A full flavoured wine with a palate of black fruit and chocolate with delicate spice notes. The Estate range is a blend of some of our finest Shiraz parcels from across Langhorne Creek. The wine was carefully crafted in small open fermenters with extended skin time ensuring optimal flavour development and then matured in new American oak. It has great length and integrated tannin making it perfect for that special event. Drinking beautifully now, but has the structure to reward patient cellaring for 10 or more years.

Birthday Wine Cylinder “Hip Hip Hooray It’s Your Birthday” A true expression of Langhorne Creek Shiraz, this is a medium bodied wine showing intense lifted spice aromas and dark berry fruit. The palate is long and silky with fine tannins, offering juicy plum and blackberry fruits, with notes of clove and pepper.

This classic Langhorne Creek Shiraz was specially produced using old vine fruit grown on the estate. It’s a rich, full bodied wine showing lifted aromatics of plums and dark chocolate.

This wine is a true crowd-pleaser, bursting with aromas of dark berries and lifted notes of dried leafy herbs. Hints of toasted oak add a subtle layer of spice and cedar. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with generous dark fruit and a touch of choc-mint, all balanced by well-integrated oak and supported by firm, lingering tannins.
