In the glass: Fine straw yellow with a very slow release fine bead. On the nose: Nectarine and peach over hazelnut with leesy richness. On the palate: Intense and elegant with white peach and white strawberry umami plus fine elements of flint, struck match and velvety roundness under a bright, racy frame of acidity. Deliciously mouth-watering and crisp yet so flavoursome.

Novum Pinot Noir

An opulent Pinot Noir made from select parcels of fruit showcasing its Marlborough origin gloriously. An aromatic wine with black fruit and spice on the nose. The palate is rich, also with black fruit, but a hint of red fruit to add unexpected freshness.Textural and deep, this will age for up to ten years with grace (although its ready to enjoy now). The fruit is 100% destemmed then aged in 30% new oak. Novum use small parcels of fruit from specially selected sites on established Marlborough vineyards to craft the best wines and expressions of terroir possible. Their first vintage arrived in 2016. Novums primary focus is on Syrah, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Louis Bouillot Perle d’Aurore Rose de Presse

With a crisp pink color, this wine offers a gentle balance between acidulated aromas with notes of white blossom and small red fruit like raspberry and redcurrant. Its fine bubbles promise a delightful roundness in the mouth, which reveals all the subtlety of Pinot Noir. Underscored by a pleasant vivacity and sustained fruit, Perle d'Aurore is a delicate Crémant de Bourgogne that can be drunk in any circumstances.

Vietti Moscato dAsti Cascinetta

Pale sunshine yellow color and slight frizzante, this Moscato d'Asti has intense aromas of peaches, rose petals and ginger. On the palate, it is delicately sweet and sparkling with balanced acidity, good complexity and a finish of fresh apricots. The grapes are selected from small vineyards located in Castiglione Tinella. The vineyards are planted with 4,500 vines per hectare, which are almost 40 years old. Only the best Moscato grapes with extended maturation are used for the Cascinetta. The grapes are crushed, pressed and naturally clarified. Must is kept without sulfites in a cold storage, at low temperature in order to naturally prevent fermentation. Before the bottling, we add yeast and temperature is increased to 12°-14° C. Alcoholic fermentation occurs in stainless steel pressured tanks to preserve natural CO2 from the fermentation. The fermentation is stopped at 5% Alc. by reducing the temperature. There is no malolactic fermentation to preserve acidity, varietal fruit character and freshness. The history of the Vietti winery traces its roots back to the 19th Century. Only at the beginning of the 20th century, however, did the Vietti name become a winery offering its own wines in bottle. From 1919 Patriarch Mario Vietti began making the first Vietti wines, selling most of the production in Italy. His most significant achievement was to transform the family farm, engaged in many fields, into a grape-growing and wine-producing business. Then, in 1952, Alfredo Currado (Luciana Viettis husband) continued to produce high quality wines from their own vineyards and purchased grapes. The Vietti winery grew to become one of the top-level producers in Piemonte and was one of the first wineries to export its products to the USA market. Alfredo was one of the first to select and vinify grapes from single vineyards (such as Brunate, Rocche and Villero). This was a radical concept at the time, but today virtually every vintner making Barolo and Barbaresco wines offers single vineyard or cru-designated wines. Alfredo is also called the father of Arneis as in 1967 he invested a lot of time to rediscover and understand this nearly-lost variety. Today Arneis is the most famous white wine from Roero area, north of Barolo. Setting such a fine example with Arneis, even fellow vintners as far away those on the west coast of the United States now are cultivating and producing Arneis!

Louis Bouillot Perle d'Ivoire Blanc de Blancs Non-Vintage

Its yellow in colour with hints of green and gold show its fine bubbles in a lovely light. The nose opens on white blossom then citrus, before developing pleasant buttery and brioche notes. Full and rounded in the mouth, with a certain vivacity, and complex secondary aromas that evolve over time, delighting the taste buds. The harmony and elegance of Perle d'Ivoire makes a match for a wide variety of dishes, from the simplest to the most exotic. The grapes come mainly from the north of Burgundy (Yonne, Chatillonnais) and the south (Mâconnais). Gentle pneumatic pressing respects the fruit, and separate handling of the juice produces musts of great quality. Cold settling followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled vats preserves the personality of the wine, in particular its aromas. Once the bubbles have formed in the bottles, Perle d'Ivoire ages on laths for more than 18 months, enhancing the wine and bringing great elegance. Crémant de Bourgogne has been an Appellation dOrigine Contrôlée since 1975. It covers a particularly large territory that stretches from the north of Burgundy to the south, covering the Chablis region, the Châtillonnais, the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, the Côte Chalonnaise, the Côte Mâconnaise, and into the Beaujolais. Such diversity means that a wide range of different base wines can be created that reflect their terroir. This allows for the creation of subtle blends to achieve the perfect balance for each cuvée and to bring out the qualities of each varietal: Pinot Noir for fruit, structure and vinosity; Chardonnay for freshness and elegance; Gamay for tastiness; and Aligoté for vivacity. Empowered by more than 130 years of history and expertise, creativity and respect for the terroir are the fundamentals of the Louis Bouillot philosophy.
