House of Noir Black de Black Sparkling Shiraz Non-Vintage

Close your eyes and picture this: it's the Sunday roast and your family is all gathered. A dilemma strikes: what could you pop the cork on that's going to please everyone from Aunty Kath to Grandpa Joe

Taltarni Vineyards Marque Sparkling White Non-Vintage

This lot criminally undervalue for their own wines, it's that simple. This lively drop is refreshing and people-pleasing but not without nuance. To be honest it's a bit of a party animal and fit for any celebration or occasion. A true Chameleon, fit for drinking in a t-shirt or a tuxedo - enjoy! Talk about bang for your buck... there's a whole lot of quality for the price and a whole lot of fun to be had. Vivacious and vibrant, this is the kind of wine that wouldn't normally be taken overly seriously but Taltarni Vineyards simply can't help themselves. It's a compulsion of theirs to overdeliver and bring a sparkling wine that fits in perfectly at a party but brings a level of attention to detail that completely invalidates the price point. Just as you'd expect there's zippy acid, wonderful citrus and a slight brioche-adjacent richness that carries through to the finish. This is the perfect bubbly for an event or party and frankly we'd feel a little understocked if we didn't have a couple of these waiting in the rack at home - y'know, for emergencies.

Yellow Tail Prosecco

Fresh, floral and easy to drink sparkling wine, with vibrant flavours of zesty citrus and nashi pear finishing smooth and creamy.

Paxis Red Blend

This dark, structured wine, with its balanced blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, is firm with tannins and dense berry fruits. Full in the mouth; a concentrated wine. - 90 PTS. Wine Enthusiast 2013 Vintage and #5 Top 100.

19 Crimes Uprising

Shiraz dominant red blended wine lending bright raspberry fruit and plush tannin structure with Cabernet Sauvignon to provide blackberry fruits , palate weight and structure and then Grenache to provide spice and fruit sweetness on the palate. The nose has intense lifted mocha, caramel and baking spice notes. The palate is full and mouth coating with brown sugar, jammy blackberry and chocolate notes.

Dorio Montepulciano

We searched the region of Abruzzo for a savoury quaffer that's perfect for Tuesday night Italian, and this is it. Bright red fruit with length and depth, rustic (but squeaky clean) with genuine Italian savoury notes and that chalky tannin edge on the finish.

Cinta Prosecco DOC Non-Vintage

Tiny bubbles that swell up in your mouth and linger for quite a while are a feature of this sparkling Italian wine. The sweet smell of honey gives way for fruity notes of gala apples and ripe pears on the plate, which were enhanced by the slight boost of sweetness.

Henkell Trocken Brut Sekt Non-Vintage

A nice change from Aussie bubbles, this German brut has a surprisingly smooth and creamy taste for the uninitiated, with fizzing fruit flavours and a delicious lingering finish. Prost!

Jacob's Creek Chardonnay Pinot Noir Non-Vintage

A fun sparkling wine blend made from grapes from all over Southern Australia. Delicious citrus fruit flavours making it the perfect wine to bring out with party nibbles. Crisp, clean and bubbly with some Granny Smith apple crunchiness Enjoy it as a starter with a bowl of salty cashew nuts

Rococo Premium Cuvee Non-Vintage

A real sophisticated offering from the team at De Bortoli. It's a Chardonnay-driven bubbly that's delicate with lemon and apple flavours delivering persistence with a fine acid structure. Extended lees contact creatures a rich texture and adds yeasty complexity.
