Tuscany is without doubt a wine region that produces some of the most important reds in the World. It is a region full of tradition, but in continuous evolution since the introduction of international grape varietals and the use of the French barrels that became common in the seventies. Beginning in the 80's and through the 90's the new wines, the Super Tuscans, benefited the whole Tuscan region. The Antinori family has been in the wine business since Giovanni di Piero Antinori joined the Florentine Guild of Vintners in 1385 more than 26 generations ago. Throughout the company's long history it has remained family owned and operated, and today it is directed by Marchese Piero Antinori. The wine opens with a ruby red colour with violet tinges. It has a full and intense fragrance with hints of red fruit which bring to mind cherries and raspberries. On the palate the wine is smooth and well-balanced. The finish is characterized by gentle tannins.

Senior winemaker Jamie Saint, pursues his passion for the wines of the Barossa through the Barossa Valley Wine Company. Gravel Track pays tribute to the long gravel and limestone track that winds its way through our historic 60-year-old Farms vineyard. Lifted aromas of red cherry and raspberry complemented by clove and lavender on the nose, with a rich, earthy and vibrant palate. The name of this outstanding wine, 'The Holy Trinity' symbolises the Burge family's migration to the Barossa in the 1850's. The family, the vines and their faith created a tradition of winemaking that has continued for five generations. This wine also pays homage to the Barossa, encapsulating the three traditional red varieties of the Barossa - Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvedre. Under guidance of head winemaker Craig Stansborough, the three varieties come together to make a complex and flavour filled red.

This French Provence wine has a bouquet of strawberries and white flowers with hints of vanilla. It has the harmony and elegance that has earned world-wide appreciation of the Rosés of Provence. Triennes Rosé is the perfect accompaniment to a sunny summer afternoon. In 1989, two Burgundians, Jacques Seysses and Aubert de Villaine, and a Parisian friend, Michel Macaux, went in search of new vineyards. Their attention turned to a hill near Aix-en-Provence, some 30km from the Mediterranean. Today, Domaine de Triennes is led by Winemaker Remy Laugier, who crafts rosés like this, featuring syrah, cinsault, merlot and grenache.

Barossa vignerons used to call their vineyards 'gardens', such was the care they were (and still are) given! The Three Gardens a classic Rhone blend that draws on the complementary character of Shiraz, Mourvèdre and Grenache.

The Butchers Block is a traditional Barossa blend made with grapes selected from the Turkey Flat vineyards, including some from the original old vine plantings. It is a blend of Shiraz, Grenache and Mourvédre (Mataro). 'Part of the grapes come from the home vineyard that has some of the oldest vines in the Barossa, planted by Peter Schulz's great-grandfather Ernest Schulz. The wine has the drive, focus and intensity often missing from this Barossa blend; that said, there are both black and distinctly red fruit components, and the tannins are firm.
