This juicy Cabernet is from a boutique family winery in the Gilbert Valley between Clare and the Barossa, where the focus is on sustainable, organic farming practices. Deep red purple in appearance. Bright and lifted dark cherry and cola aromas. Full-bodied with masses of red and black fruit, underlying clove and anise complexity, deep tannins and a plush finish. Drink young and fresh.
OR Jacobs Creek Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
With careful cellaring, this Jacob's Creek Classic Cabernet Sauvignon has developed into a beautifully balanced and elegant red. The vibrant crimson and purple hues have mellowed slightly, while the aromas of blackcurrant and cedar spice have deepened, now joined by subtle earthy and tobacco notes. On the palate, the dark berry and cherry flavours are smoother and more integrated, with the once-tight tannins now rounded and refined. The finish remains long and satisfying. A classic Cabernet that now shines with added depth—perfect alongside roast lamb or a rich beef dish.
Wirra Wirra Church Block Cabernet Shiraz Merlot
Church Block first appeared back in 1972 under the watchful eye of Greg Trott and was taken by one of the original vineyards that ran alongside the small Bethany Church, across the road from Wirra Wirra's old ironstone cellars. Over the last 4 decades, it has become one of Australia's favourites. The 2005 Church Block is showing just what a little patience can do. After six years, the velvet texture is the dominant feature with integrated tannin taking a backseat.

Ripe blackberry and cedar-boxy goodness on the nose. The palate follows with ribena jubey-ness with hints of spicy clove framed by soft grapithe like tannins. Fragrant, blackcurrant and supple. Perfect with rich & hearty dishes, as it tends to brighten them. You can never fail with the classic pairing of good old grilled steak, chips and cabernet. South Australia's first vineyards were established in the 1830's. Enjoying a wide range of climates including the cool temperatures of the Adelaide Hills, to the hot summer weather of the Barossa Valley, South Australia is arguably Australia's most diverse wine producing state. It is from these wonderfully diverse regions that winemaker Marty O'Flaherty selects the best varietals to produce Mojo wines. Marty's resounding philosophy is "wine should tell a story about the terroir in which it's grown, needing lots of love but minimal handling by allowing the growers to do what they do best."

Langmeil The Long Mile Shiraz
Rosenvale Vineyards Vine Vale Road Shiraz
This is serious shiraz, mofo. Coming from one of our favourite Barossa producers who were established well over 100 years ago! As for this particular wine, after the grapes are picked at perfect ripeness to give voluptuous fruit quality, which sees a couple of years in new and seasoned French oak barrels. The resulting wine is dark and deep, with blueberries, spice and a touch of white pepper on the nose. The palate is full of fine tannins and rich red cherries and plums. It’s not just a mofo fave - it’s an all round consumer fave bringing in an impressive 4.1 rating on Vivino; Certainly not something you see every day. Calling all Aussie red lovers, this one should catch your attention!
