4 Pines Ultra Low
A refreshing ultra low alcohol malt beverage. Hop notes dominated by fruit with herbal and citrus notes underpinning. A subtle clean malt character with balanced bitterness to refresh the palette and a slightly tart finish that leaves you wanting more.
Capital Brewing Xpa
The XPA (ABV: 5.0% IBU: 30) takes on elements of their Mountain Brew XPA and the previously known Summit Session XPA (now Summit Session Ale) but delivers something entirely its own. It joins the Capital core range family at the expense of the Springboard Orange Wit, that has been discontinued. We find out why they chose not to give it a stable name, how, for now, it completes their circle of core range beers and much more.
ORVAL Trappist Ale
The distinctive fruity and bitter taste of Orval beer means it has become a genuine reference in the exclusive world of authentic Trappist beers. Orval beer is a high fermentation beer. The ageing process adds a fruity note, which strikes a subtle balance between the beer’s full-bodied yet complex flavour and bitterness. The beer was first brewed in 1931 and owes its unparalleled taste to the quality of the water, the hops and the yeast used. The brewery has selected very aromatic and unique hop varieties, which hark back to the first brewmaster of Orval, who hailed from Bavaria. The beer’s aromas are very pronounced while maintaining the right level of bitterness thanks to the English method of dry hopping. The various stages of fermentation – combined fermentation with the original yeast and with wild yeast, followed by fermentation in the bottle – mean the beer must age for some time and requires numerous quality controls.
Spencer Trappist Monks' Reserve Quadrupel Beer
First and only US Trappist, very unique World-class Massachusetts St Joseph's Abbey is the only non-European Trappist range. Deep in its Trappist tradition and monastic way of life, profits ploughed back to community funding and charitable contribitions. Trappist Monks' Reserve Quadrupel is a full-bodied, fragrant, dense amber ale with a frothy tan head. Robust at 10.2% ABV.
Balter IIPA Can 4X4X375ml
Not many beers get given the rank of two stripes. This one has earned both rings. One of our most-saluted special releases, Balter IIPA is now back for a limited time. Clean, hefty hop notes provide substantial palate weight with hints of pineapple, pine and citrus, trailed by a delightfully dry, spicy finish. We're not sure what a twin-stripe rank actually signifies, but damn, this is delicous times two. From us to you with enjoyment
