Famous for their popular and flavoursome Sauvignon Blanc, Giesen produce an enticing and pure Riesling from the same region, Marlborough. Displaying notes of citrus, white flowers and ginger on the nose, this attractive off-dry Riesling shows subtle sweet flavours of lemon curd, mandarin and orange peel. This Riesling from Bream Creek is made from vines over 40 years old. It has a rich nose, showing freshly cut lime, French citron tart, spice and floral notes. The palate reveals vibrant lime, lemon and grapefruit balanced against taut and lively Tasmanian acidity, resulting in a wine with excellent length and a crisp, refreshing finish. Crisp, tangy and delicate, Mr Riggs Watervale Riesling displays a pale yellow with lime hues. Vibrant bouquet of stone fruit, slate and zesty lime. Fine acidity and great balance, the palate is an explosion of fresh yellow fruit and superb minerality.
