Krug is well and truly one of the great wine experiences in the world. It is an exercise in balance and poise, being at once as fine and delicate as crystal and rich with meaty nuttiness. With an almost ethereal bead, there is plenty of toast, dried fruit and hazelnut complexity. Magnificent!

Extended time on yeast lees has added a rich creaminess to the blend which is enhanced by a refreshing dry finish. It combines Pinot elegance with complexity and depth of flavour to make it a perfect food wine. It's easy to see why Orlando's Trilogy sparkling wines continue to be great value for money.

This Sparkling rose by Jansz is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Pinot meunier. Intense aromas of Turkish Delights, rosewater and strawberries fill the nose, while the mouth comes alive with luscious layers of Pinot truffles and the creaminess of bright rose and strawberry fruits.

Tasmania is producing world-class sparklings and this is one of the very best examples. Subtle complex and elegant it shows fine intense fruit with classic toasty creamy yeast character.

Ninth Island is a classic Tasmanian Sparkling. Apple and pear dominate the nose that is backed by a balanced yeastiness. The palate has good grip and a dry finish. What a little beauty!

Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne is the epitome of class and elegance from the house of Roederer. A super limited and hard to find top echelon Champagne, Cristal is a 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay blend that was harvested in near perfect conditions. G.H.MUMM Millésimé 2006 is a luminous and bright golden yellow in colour with fine, lingering bubbles.The nose reveals a superbly complex wine: notes of apple and pear, with yellow fruit such as apricot and mirabelleplum. It then develops aromas of dried fruit and nuts with hints of pastry. After a strong attack, the wine developsgradually. It then reveals the increasingly perceptible presence of Pinot Noir, giving an unctuousness to the structure before unfolding into a long, precise finish.

This new vintage is fresh and crisp, taut and racy. A fine youthful wine that promises to age gracefully for five to six years. 70% Pinot noir - 30% Chardonnay. One third of the wine is matured in oak casks prior to bottling, after four years on lees, it is disgorged, it sees dosage of 8-10 g/l before another 6 months in bottle prior to release.
