The Coincidence Cabernet Shiraz
Aromas of luscious berry fruits and sweet spicy oak. Chocolate and berry flavours further develop on the palate and end with a balanced, dry finish. What a coincidence that in the early 1800s, two nations were racing across the oceans to claim the uncharted land of Australia. Frenchman Nicholas Baudin captained Le Geographe and at the same time, Matthew Flinders, an Englishman, captained The Investigator. When Eastern bound Flinders met Western bound Baudin off the coast of the Barossa, they named the meeting point Encounter Bay. Perhaps not coincidentally this Cabernet Shiraz were also sourced from the Barossa in South Australia.
