A fresh, delicate Prosecco sparkling wine. Lifted aromatics, fine bead, creamy mousse and lovely long acid

Classically pale in the glass, Nebbiolo is a deceptive and beautiful wine by Pizzini. The nose is all allure and seduction with classic, deep rose petal perfume, plenty of anise-scented spice and bright red fruits. The palate's deep, juicy and mouth-filling red cherry and plum flavours run on sturdy tannins, laced with liquorice and finishing bright.

Hand picked grapes from cool climate vineyards in the King Valley and Tumbarumba were used to craft a methode traditionelle sparkling wine of the highest quality. Lifted aromas of green apple and citrus on the nose, and after extended time on lees the palate is soft and creamy with brioche characters.

Brown Brothers have added the Prosecco Rosato to join the original, and much loved, Prosecco. In the glass there is a rose-gold colour and a soft nose of strawberry and apple skins. With the addition of a touch of Cienna to the Prosecco, the sparkling wine retains its trademark acidity while showcasing a softer, rounder side to the palate. Col Fondo Prosecco undergoes secondary fermentation in bottle and isnt disgorged. The flavoursome leesy sediment dances on the bottom, hence col fondo, literally meaning from the bottom. This is how Italian prosecco used to be crafted before industrialisation turned it into mostly cheap fizz made in stainless steel tanks. This is complex, refreshing, lightly fizzy with plenty of acidity keeping it alive and kicking.

Chardonnay sourced from Victorias cool climate King Valley goes into Nugan's Estate Chardonnay. Pale straw in appearance, with a youthful green hue. Aromas of peach, nectarine, poached peach and mixed spice, a rich mout filling palate of stone fruit, biscuit and yeast notes with a crisp acidity make this a good drink.
