Isabel Estate Chardonnay exudes bright, ripe fruit such as grapefruit and lemon with upfront acidity. Complex aromas of sweet nuttiness, ripe figs and a touch of melon follow closely by with delicious nougat and caramel. Finish is creamy and lingering. Not one to miss.

The citrus rind and grapefuit lead the palate to an overall fine yet textural journey. Cape Mentelle Chardonnay had this distinctive minerally line too, apparent with focussed refreshing acidity. Chardonnay is at home in the Margaret River in Australia's west and this great value version from Cow Bombie shows lovely rich varietal flavours of peach and melon and textured mouth feel are enhanced by zesty citrus notes which linger on the finish.

Penfolds Maxs Chardonnay is a tribute to former Chief Winemaker Max Schubert, a legend in Penfolds history. Pale straw in colour with green hues, this wine has a very nice textural and creamy palate with a soft line of acid fading ever so slowly to a distant palate horizon.

The grapes for the Winton Road Riesling are carefully harvested from selected older vineyards in the Barossa and Eden Valley. The Barossa winemaking history dates back to the 1840s with Riesling wines being brought to the region by the German and Silesian settlers. These low yielding Riesling vines give structure to the palate while maintaining its refreshing acidity and complementing the fruit and floral characters in the wine. A bright lemon colour with aromas of apple blossom, mandarin zest and wet stone. A structured Riesling with great intensity.
