Shingleback Haycutters Salmon Rose
The Greeks first made Rose 26 centuries ago when they settled in Provence, the oldest wine growing region in France. The light colour of Rose is a result of the short amount of time the grape and skins stay in contact after being crushed. Today, hundreds of years later, Rose continues to gain popularity, and regions like Mclaren Vale are now producing outstanding medal winning Roses like this one! Shingleback Haycutters Salmon Rose, Gold Medal National Wine Show of Australia 2017. Aromas of freshly picked summer raspberries and strawberries are pierced with fragrant lemon rind. Nuances of rose petals and a hint of dusty minerality tease the senses. A compote of red berry flavours flows over the finely textured palate which is defined by a lingering acidity and savoury moreishness. Taylors Estate Pinot Noir Chardonnay
Taylors celebrated 40 years in business with its first fizz. Fragrant notes on the nose, creamy and complex, bright citrus and stonefruit flavours, fine, persistent bubbles and a crisp, dry finish. A classic white sparkler from one of our favourite families.
Lindemans Early Harvest Semillon Sauv Blanc
Early Harvest wines are created from selected parcels of flavour ripe grapes harvested from early ripening regions in South Eastern Australia. This fruit, coupled with careful winemaking, creates a uniquely refreshing wine which is at least 25% lighter in alcohol and calories. The fresh fruit flavours of Semillon and cut grass and lychee flavours of Sauvignon Blanc are balanced by the crisp dry finish, providing an easy drinking style of wine.
Jacob's Creek Prosecco Spritz
Jacob's Creek Prosecco Spritz is a refreshing take on the classic aperitivo, made with crisp Prosecco blended with blood orange, botanicals and a twist of bitters. This sophisticated, ready-to-serve product is best served over ice with a slice of grapefruit which beautifully compliments the bitter sweet citrus notes. It's the perfect, stylish accompaniment when catching up with friends for an afternoon celebration or getting ready for a night out.
Kilikanoon Baroota Reserve Shiraz
Hardys VR Cabernet Sauvignon
Full of dark berries and plums this richly-coloured and -flavoured wine is from South Eastern Australia. An excellent everyday wine it suits hearty soups and slow cooked lamb making it a perfect choice for winter evenings.
Caravan Petite Sirah
The label is a treat (a tiny vintage caravan parked outside a grand French château) but the wine itself is what's really special here. Made by Jimmy Watson trophy-winning John Quarisa, it's a big, rich red with velvety tannins and a long, smooth finish. THREE Golds show that the show judges love it too. This is impressive stuff!
Dark Corner Durif Shiraz
David Joeky marries deep, black Durif and smooth spicy Shiraz to produce a darker, denser, profound red. As he says: “Magical things happen when Shiraz and Durif come together” . His Dark Corner bears that out to delicious perfection. The result? It's almost as dark as the corner in which it was made, a wine to stain your palate, and once tasted, you’ll be hooked. Ripe and mouthfilling, with blackberry, plum berry fruit and mocha flavours with a smooth, creamy texture
The Great Bonza Reserve Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon
It's made by the talented John Quarisa, who has enjoyed a “distinguished career as a winemaker spanning over 20 years” (Halliday). John likes his wines to express big personality and juicy fruit and value for money – he’s certainly achieved that here! Ripe and round blackberries conspire with flavours of plum and cinnamon spice. On the palate, rich red berries and brewed coffee make for a very appealing wine.
Caravan Merlot
A luscious Gold-medal Merlot from the great John Quarisa. It's smooth and complex, with velvety black forest fruits and a juicy plummy note. The palate is silky and lovely. It’s a brilliant partner to pan-fried lamb cutlets. John Quarisa’s lovely Caravan Petite Sirah has become a cult-classic with our customers. But will his velvety Merlot knock the Petite Sirah off its perch?
