Today, you can visit thestunning ruins of the historic mining town of Joadja whichnow remains set in an isolated valley where nature hasreclaimed what was once hers.

Capricorn Spiced

Capricorn Spiced is a finely crafted, small batch distillation of Central Queensland molasses. Weve left to age in European and American Oak barrels it matures quickly in the tropical heat to produce a dark and hearty spirit. Mixed with a traditional bill of spices that has an Australian twist to it, it drinks superbly straight up, with Ginger Beer and Lime, or in a cocktail. Capricorn Spiced has no added chemicals and is made from all natural ingredients.

Billy Goats Gin Gin

Billy Goat's Gin is a small batch, handcrafted using a unique selection of Old and New World Botanicals. We have combined Australian Wheat spirit with gently soaked Juniper, the freshness of Ruby Red Grapefruit, Lemon Myrtle and Native Australian Finger Limes for a vibrant citrus burst. We were looking for a very approachable Gin that had enough citrus for a refreshing burst, but also with enough subtle botanicals to give complexity and depth.

Gordons Gin

Founded by Alexander Gordon in 1769, the Gordon's recipe has remained almost untouched since its creation. Triple-distilled, the gin contains juniper berries, coriander seeds and angelica root to name a few. Perfectly enjoyed in a classic Gin and Tonic.

Bundaberg Rum Select VAT

Using the distillery's 120 years of rum-making expertise, the master craftsmen have searched our two-year old Bundaberg Rum reserves and selected a vat that was producing a rum with extra special characteristics. This premium rum was then doubled aged for a minimum of four years in our hand-crafted oak vats until it reached its peak.

St Agnes VSOP 5 Year Old Brandy

St. Agnes 5 Year Old Brandy is a richly coloured, full-bodied brandy. It is discernibly fuller-bodied than the Three Star. The Brandy is distilled according to the time honoured Pot Still process from specially prepared wine and then matured for long years in small oak barrels to ensure its pure clean perfection. It's a skilfully balanced blend that clearly shows the complexing effects achieved with extra barrel ageing. Sydney Royal Wine Show 2014 - JJ McWilliam Perpetual Trophy Best Brandy.

Old Kempton Distillery Apple Liqueur

Tasmanian Apple Liqueur is made from 100% Tasmanian apples crafted into cider and distilled through our copper still in our 1840s stable. Sweet and clean with subtle apple flavours. Tasmanian Apple Liqueur is a perfect after dinner drink served over ice or as a great cocktail base to create a OKD style mojito with soda, mint and lime.

Old Kempton Distillery Tasmanian Embezzler Dry Gin

Embezzler Gin is designed to be a well-balanced gin that incorporates a strong juniper character. Blended with citrus, florals, spices, sweetness and ending with a traditional London dry finish that lasts just long enough before you are wanting to take another sip. Named after William Henry Ellis, a convicted embezzler and founder of Dysart House Embezzler Gin can be drunk straight, on ice, with tonic or OKD's personal suggestion chilled with a slice of lime. Either way the Embezzler should stand out in your glass.

Old Kempton Distillery Lavender Malt

Unique to Old Kempton Distillery Lavender Malt contains a blend of three pure ingredients Tasmanian mountain water, Tasmanian lavender and malted barley. This secret recipe is combined through our copper stills in the heart of Tasmania to create a delicious liqueur with hints of honey, spice and, of course, lavender. Serve from the freezer, neat, over ice-cream or with soda and ice for a refreshing and special experience.

23rd Street Australian Vodka

Vodka five times distilled, and charcoal filtered from slow-fermented fairy tears and true loves first kiss. Or was it sugarcane? Bright as a January sunbeam with a hint of residual sweetness. The finest Australian sugarcane molasses are mixed with rainwater and small batch fermented, only the softest & finest spirit cuts are copper-pot distilled and charcoal filtered to crystal clarity. The result, a vodka that is exceptionally smooth while retaining some of its natural sweetness. On the palate, it has a beautifully smooth mouth-feel with evidence of sweetness from its sugarcane origins, a lingering, silky finish. Excellent in cocktails, with your favorite mixer or over ice.
