This attractive Shiraz has wonderful rich, dark cherry notes with plums and a touch of apricot thrown in. The texture on the palate is vibrant with a length that is simply perfect.

The Shiraz grapes for The Struie come from old vines in the Barossa and Eden Valleys. The Eden component brings floral spicy aromas that are supported by more brooding notes of tar and chocolate from the Barossa. The palate is luscious and silky, and this is a Fine Wine favourite.

Aiming to vinify grapes from original Centenarian and Ancestor vines, the wine is low in production but high in quality and accolades. The Old Vine Barossa Shiraz was an inaugural recipient of the Barossa Trust Mark.
