Toolangi is a state forest just outside Healesville that was devastated during Black Saturday. The excellent vineyards remain, and continue to produce wines of personality and place. The Chardonnay combines varietal characters of quince and crab apple with some delicious nutty oak nuances. Its great value.

It may be the second label of Scotchman's Hill but don't be deceived the quality of this wine is first rate! Delicate, floral and perfumed aromas are backed up by ripe melon and stone fruit flavours.

This Paul Mas Chardonnay has plenty going for it! Nectarine, melon and minerally aromas are followed by a long, textured palate with stonefruit flavours and fresh acidity. Great value.

Shadowfax Chardonnay is blended from premium cool climate districts of southern Victoria. This Chardonnay crafted by Matt Harrop is elegant and complex with attractive varietal and barrel derived characters.

Church Road are the custodians of a rich and long history in the northern New Zealand region of Hawke's Bay. Having undergone some serious rejuvenation in recent years, Church Road are producing some simply outstanding wines including this moreish Chardonnay. The perfect balance between that textured 'old school' style and some contemporary elegance and finesse, this white is packed full of great mineral acidity and a superb length of flavour.

This wine is pale straw in colour and shows subtle grapefruit, mineral and flint characters on the nose. The palate has flavours of citrus and melon with savoury notes and a long dry finish.

Old vines are entrenched in limestone soil that produce some of the most evocative examples available. A fine and quite flinty modern expression of Margaret River Chardonnay. Finer and leaner it might be in some ways, but the unmistakable power and persistence of the region still triumphs. Complex mealy grapefruit and roasted nut characters on the nose, and a deep and richly intense palate power through to the finish.
