Te Whare Ra Pinot Gris
Anna and Jason Flowerday run the Te Whare Ra vineyard in Marlborough according to organic and bio-dynamic practices. The fruit is picked and sorted by hand, then processed in a winery especially designed for small-batch wine-making. This dry Pinot Gris is finely structured with great purity and length of flavour. Lifted aromas of nashi pear, raspberry, red apple and white florals follow on to the palate, where they're balanced by a fine, supple texture and lingering minerality.
Vavasour Sauvignon Blanc
Vavasour Sauvignon Blanc is a meticulously made wine with grapes selected for intensity and concentration. The bouquet shows passionfruit and white peach aromas and the palate has ripe fruit flavours with mineral notes. Always one of our favourites.

On the nose, this Sauvignon has characters of elderflower and white currant with ripe tropical and citrus fruits. These follow on the palate, which is fine and soft with vibrant, fleshy fruit, balanced by ripe, juicy acidity and lingering minerality.

Brightwater Nelson Sauvignon Blanc
Brightwater is from a tiny family estate our Buyer first visited in 2002, having noticed that famous Aussie wine writer James Halliday had reviewed their Sauvignon above Cloudy Bay. Their 2009 was also rated as 5 Stars by top Kiwi wine critic Bob Campbell MW. A classic match with goat's cheese, it's also just the ticket with seafood, especially oysters. Alternatively, enjoy as a refreshing glass on its own.
Peregrine Sauvignon Blanc
Expressive aromas of feijoa, lemon zest and elderflower fuse beautifully with a palate featuring a mouth-watering fresh acidity and lime and green apple flavours.
Russian Jack Sauvignon Blanc
The 2024 Russian Jack Sauvignon Blanc is everything you want from Marlborough in one neat, vibrant package. Sourced from both the Wairau and Awatere Valleys, it blends the best of both worlds - bright tropical aromatics from the Wairau fruit and a fresh, mineral-driven edge from the cooler, wind-swept Awatere sites. Named after a legendary vineyard worker known for his strength and generosity, Russian Jack is a wine that doesn’t overpromise but always delivers. It’s crisp and lively, with plenty of citrus and passionfruit character, backed by a mouth-watering acidity that keeps things snappy. Wild ferment? Fancy oak? Not here. This is a straight-up, no-fuss take on Sauvignon Blanc made to be enjoyed young and fresh. Perfect for sunny days, seafood, or just catching up with mates over a bottle that won’t break the bank. 93 points"Crunchy apple, kiwifruit, kaffir lime and green tea aromas… Excellent concentration and intensity on the palate. Highly enjoyable. At its best: now to 2026."- Sam Kim (Wine Orbit)
