Yalumba The Caley Cabernet Shiraz is the pinnacle of a long winemaking journey of excellence, that rightfully honours one of Yalumbas most adventurous sons. A blend of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon and Barossa Shiraz, The Caley is a classic marriage of two noble varieties and two great Australian wine regions.

The Lachlan Ridge Shiraz 2 Lt Cask exhibits lifted aromas of raspberry and sweet plum with hints of spice supported by vanilla oak. On the front palate sweet raspberry and dark berry fruits are present. Medium grainy tannins are evident, adding structure; however this red wine remains soft. The mid palate is rich with fruit sweetness, vanillin oak and spice complexity, ultimately finishing dry and soft.

This 2 litre cask displays a fruit driven bouquet consisting of red berry-fruit, cherry and plum characters. The palate is light, soft and well-balanced with a lingering fruity finish.

From the stable of Devils Lair, Fifth Leg is a blend of Cabernet, Shiraz and Merlot that is a soft and supple drink-now style. The quality of the Margaret River fruit gives it flavour which will appeal to the serious red wine drinker as well.

David Joeky marries deep, black Durif and smooth spicy Shiraz to produce a darker, denser, profound red. As he says: “Magical things happen when Shiraz and Durif come together” . His Dark Corner bears that out to delicious perfection. The result? It's almost as dark as the corner in which it was made, a wine to stain your palate, and once tasted, you’ll be hooked. The Eaglehawk Cabernet Sauvignon from Wolf Blass shows excellent varietal character and structure. Blackcurrant and cassis flavours are complemented by soft tannins and well-integrated oak.

Elephant In The Room Cabernet Sauvignon has a medium brick red in colour with a lifted and expressive nose of red berries,blackcurrants and distinct varietal tobacco leaf and forest floor. The palate is fruit-driven and vibrant with an open and approachable core of supple berried fruits, plums and cassis building to a ripe and mouth-filling back palate. A perfect each way betexcellent to drink now but able to improve with up to five years cellaring.
