Pommery Brut Royal Non-Vintage
Established in 1836, Madame Pommery is credited with creating the first vintage brut style of Champagne in 1874, at a time when most champagnes were excessively sweetened with sugar. This revolutionary dry style set the benchmark for the rest of Champagne and it is in this spirit that the style of Pommery endures; with each cuvée displaying sublime elegance, finesse and freshness. Pommery is one of the few Champagne Houses that produces their large formats in the actual bottle in order to allow for optimal ageing.

Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve Non-Vintage ( )
The thrilling energy of this splendid season charges it with a vibrancy and definition that places this blend on a plateau elevated high above even the lofty heights that this cuvee has attained under the new Charles Heidsieck. In searching for any other entry non-vintage cuvee to which to compare it, I can fathom none short of the mesospheric heights of Krug itself. In sheer age (current Krug Grande Cuvee is only one year older) and depth of reserves, this Charles Heidsieck splendidly upholds its elevated position among Champagne's richer NVs... In sheer, breathtaking calibre for the price, this is the greatest Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve I can remember. It deserves to be the house champagne we all have chilled perpetually at the ready this year. Rating: 96/100.
Bernard Lonclas Blanc de Blancs Non-Vintage
Bernard Lonclas says “making champagne is more than just a trade, it’s a vocation - a calling, even”. We’re glad he’s decided making champagne is his calling, we didn’t know what we were missing until we got this in our glass. This is very much a grower champagne- as rumour would have it Bernard is out hand picking the grapes at the winery just south of Reims during vintage. As Jancis Robinson said, this is not for ‘neophytes’ (for those of you who have to look that word up, so did we). Which just goes to say, this will really excite the nerds and connoisseurs at the party. It’s hard not to appreciate the beauty in the subtle nuances, the florality, the lively body, the creamy texture, and the refreshing finish. With just 10g/L dosage, this will find its groove with the starting nibbles at your next celebration.
