A richly fruited yet savoury Shiraz. Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Spicy dark cherry and liquorice aromas mix with dried herb, earth and pepper notes. Rich dark to black cherry and liquorice fruits meld into an earthy dried herb and peppered smoked meat back drop. Slightly grainy tannins with a savoury mid length conclusion. The label is a treat (a tiny vintage caravan parked outside a grand French château) but the wine itself is what's really special here.
