Champions of cool-climate New South Wales, Logan have produced a Merlot with balanced fruit sweetness with true complexity. There is plenty of smooth, rich and voluptuous fruit on offer while fine-grained tannin and structured acid add a further dimension to this luscious wine. One could certainly argue that this is the perfect food match wine.

Very pale salmon, some light red hues. Red fruits, raspberry, cranberry, a touch of liquorice, some light spice and earth. Pinot Noir is apparent on the front palate, with berries, fluffy talc and crystalline texture. The Grenache brings weight through the middle, a riot of red fruits and tarry spice. Mourvèdre fills the rear, with lovely fine extract framing the palate and adding length. A harmonious and very fine Minnow Rosé by Shadowfax: complex, dry and delicious.

This wine is made with Pinot Noir fruit grown on some spectacular vineyard sites in the Yarra Valley, comprising predominantly MV6 clone, with some 114 and 115. Pacha Mama use minimal additives or fining and aim to let the fruit shine through rather than clobbering all over it with heavy oak use or commercial wine-making techniques. Flavours of sour cherry and wild strawberries carry on to the palate complexed by a savoury spice and intriguing earthiness that lingers long after the last mouthful.

Happs Preservative Free Red offers up a Margaret River excellence that doesn't disappoint. A mix with Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Merlot and Grenache all combined. This is lifted with red fruits including cherry, strawberry and dark fruits as well as some charry oak. The palate is youthful and fresh with some savoury characters as well as intense berry fruit that dares you to have another glass.

The wine has a tawny colour with hints of red. The aroma is a mix of ripe berry fruit, with rancio characters from extended barrel maturation. On the palate there is ripe fruit giving a generous mouth feel with hints of vanilla and chocolate. The wine has an attractive drying finish.

Señorio de la Tautila comes from La Mancha vineyards and is carefully produced to be de alcoholised just before bottling, preserving its organoleptic characteristics and extracting only the alcoholic and caloric content of this wine characterised by a generous fruit expression, rich in nuances of plum and berries. The presence of fruit surprises and emerging from behind the wood of the barrel without too much aggressiveness. Voluminous input in mouth, persistent structure with personality. Pairs well with meats, roasts, and savory appetisers.
