The Linder family established St Hallett Winery in 1944. For over 70 years they have built a reputation as specialists in Barossa Shiraz. The team at St Hallett, headed up by Stuart Blackwell and Toby Barlow, have done a fantastic job with this shiraz, choosing the best grapes from the vineyards to create a wine that is lush with great depth of flavour.

Elderton Command Shiraz is a classic, old-vine Barossa Shiraz first made in 1984 from a single, low-yielding block planted in the 1890s on the banks of the North Para River at Nuriootpa. The vines are anchored in deep, alluvial silt over red-brown earths and limestone. Command Shiraz is typified by raspberry, blackberry, dark chocolate, meaty, aniseed aromas and flavours, pronounced chalky, firm tannin structures, plenty of mid-palate richness and underlying integrated oak. Command has won many international accolades, appearing twice in (U.S.) Wine Spectators annual Top 100 and winning the trophy for Best Shiraz in the World at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in London.

From the wizards at Langmeil comes a wine of stunning character, truly reminiscent of the Barossa region. Delicious, rich aroma of blueberries, raspberries and Satsuma plums fills the nostrils with hints of mocha, Anzac cookies and briary spice. The palate is bright, juicy fruit lives up to the aroma and is balanced nicely with sweet oak, briary and peppery spice and youthful, firm tannins. The palate is quite full with a long, velvety, fruitful and spicy finish.

A tried and true expression of ripe and generously flavoured shiraz that lets the fruit do the talking rather than excessive oak or alcohol. Traditionally a blend of Barossa and Eden Valley estate grown fruit, there's so much to like here ; delicately scented spice, earth and licorice complexities intertwine with layers of supple, mouth filling blue and black fruits. St Hugo Cabernet Shiraz displays a dark ruby red with purple hues. The bouquet of dark forest fruits such as plum, blueberry and cassis lead into a beautifully complex palate of blackcurrent, sweet plum and chalky tannins. There is a underlying savoury oak hint and a finish of lingering dark chocolate.
